How to Set Up a Yacht Slide

Developing your own technique suited for your yacht is key. Whether storing in a garage or on deck, use these steps as guidance. Practice makes perfect.


I. Deployment Phases

Inflate Body

Step 1: Inflate Body
Unroll onto swim platform. Ensure 1/3 is onboard. Inflate body to 1psi; keep arms deflated.

Attach Ropes

Step 2: Attach Ropes
Attach harness to top section lifting points. Maneuver into water and float to deployment side.

Lift Up

Step 3: Lift & Tie
Lift slide onto the railing. Ensure ropes are secured to D-rings for safe positioning.

Inflate Rest

Step 4: Inflate Arms
Inflate side arm tubes to 1.0psi. They should feel very firm to provide lateral stability.

Secure

Step 5: Connect Stairs
Inflate separate stair piece and secure to deck. Attach slide body to the stairs.

 


II. Lashing & Safety Anchor Points

Important: Lashing is required for safe operation. Do not operate in winds above 15 mph. (A) Sun Deck cleats, (B) Owner's Deck points, (C) Main Deck capstan.

III. Retrieval & Storage

Retrieval Steps:

  1. Fully deflate with reverse pump to smallest size.
  2. Rinse with fresh water and wipe dry fully before folding.
  3. Fold sides inward using handles as a guide, then roll toward stairs.
  4. Store in designated bag in a dry, cool area.
